Day 1:
After arriving in Nairobi, catch a connecting flight to Rwanda where our guides will welcome you. Enjoy breakfast at a luxurious hotel in Kigali and receive a short briefing about your upcoming safari. Later, embark on a scenic drive through the Land of a Thousand Hills, traveling to Parc National des Volcans. The journey takes you through terraced hillsides that characterize Rwanda's breathtaking landscape, with the majestic Virunga Volcanoes rising in the distance, sometimes with five peaks visible.

Start your adventure with an early morning drive to the briefing station for gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans (Volcanoes National Park). Trek through the lush mountain forests of the Virungas in search of these magnificent creatures. Spending an hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience, a highlight for many travelers who come from around the world. Some gorilla families can be more elusive, and tracking them may take a full day, especially in wet or muddy conditions. After your trek, return to the lodge for a well-deserved late lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’ iwacu cultural village to experience Rwandan culture and learn more about the local way of life.

This morning, set off on a Golden Monkey tracking adventure in Parc National des Volcans, offering a different yet equally thrilling wildlife experience. Afterward, immerse yourself in Rwandan culture with a special Intore dance performance, a traditional and joyful display of local music and dance. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the performers and even participate in the magical dances. In the afternoon, drive back to Kigali and visit the Kigali Memorial Museum, a moving tribute to the victims of the Rwandan Genocide. Afterward, take a brief city tour of Kigali. Check in to the elegant Kigali Serena Hotel for a delightful dinner and some well-deserved rest.

Begin your day with a comprehensive tour of Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital city. Known for its cleanliness and organization, Kigali is regarded as one of the cleanest cities in Africa and perhaps the world. Visit the Genocide Museum for a deep historical insight into Rwanda’s past, then continue to the Museum of Natural History and explore Rwanda’s rich heritage, including the Evolution of Fashion exhibit. Take time to browse local handicraft shops, where you can purchase beautiful hand-crafted artifacts and souvenirs to commemorate your trip. Later in the day, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back to Nairobi, where you will catch your international flight home.
